BACOLOD City – A gun and ammunition were recovered from a man accused of stealing a box in Barangay 1, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified him as the 20-year-old Lorence Joe Boaquiña.
A .38-caliber revolver loaded with bullets was confiscated from Boaquiña, a police report showed.
Boaquiña was arrested on Monday, the report further showed.
He was detained at the Kabankalan City police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
