BACOLOD City – Charged with qualified theft, a woman was arrested in Barangay Maquiling, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
She was the 25-year-old Genalyn Palaran, a wanted person in the Quezon City police station.
Palaran was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Joint elements of the Sagay City police station, National Capital Region Police Office and Quezon City police station staged the arrest.
Palaran was currently under the custody of the Sagay City police but will be turned over to the Quezon City police for proper disposition.
A P40,000 bail bond was recommended for her temporary liberty./PN
