SAN JOSE, Antique – Inside a jail facility was where a man who faces multiple charges landed.
The 43-year-old Felix Riomalos of Barangay Guia, Pandan, Antique was arrested around 7:45 a.m. on Friday in Barangay Poblacion, Patnongon, Antique, a police report showed.
Joint elements of the Patnongon police station and the Regional Intelligence Unit caught Riomalos on the strength of an arrest warrant in relation to four criminal cases against him.
These cases were lodged against Riomalos for violation of Republic Act (RA) 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act), Republic Act (RA) 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), and RA 9516 (an act further amending the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 1866).
Riomalos was detained at the Patnongon municipal police station.
Bail bonds worth P200,000 and P40,000 were recommended in relation to Riomalos’ two drug charges.
A P120,000 bail bond was also recommended in relation to his violation of RA 10591.
But the court recommended no bail bond in relation to Riomalos’ RA 9516 violation./PN
