BACOLOD City – Four men facing a robbery charge were arrested in Barangay Malubon, Sagay City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Chief Inspector Robert Mansueto, head of the Sagay City police, identified the men as the 59-year-old Jolie Toquero, 43-year-old Joel Ofianga, 59-year-old Ferando Piala Sr., and 30-year-old Fernando Piala Jr. – all residents of Barangay Malubon.
They were arrested around 1:30 p.m. on Friday on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Reginald Fuentebella of the Regional Trial Court Branch 73 in Sagay City issued on June 21.
The suspects were detained at the Sagay City police station lockup facility.
The court recommended a P60,000 bail bond for each of the suspects’ temporary liberty./PN
