BACOLOD City – An altercation while having a drinking binge resulted in the death of a laborer in Purok Abangonan, Barangay Magsaysay, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
The 30-year-old Limuel “George” Carisma of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental sustained a stab wound on the right side of the stomach, a police report showed.
Carisma was rushed to the Cadiz Emergency Clinic were the attending physician pronounced him “dead on arrival.”
Police identified the suspect as the 31-year-old Albert Atordido of Barangay Magsaysay.
Investigation revealed that Carisma and Atordido were binge drinking at Marjun Diamante’s house around 7:30 p.m. on Friday when the stabbing happened.
Atordido used a knife to stab Carisma, added the police.
Atordido was arrested and detained at the Cadiz City police station lockup facility./PN
