ILOILO City – A 25-year-old resident of Barangay Bolilao, Mandurriao district had been arrested.
Kirk Villegas was charged with attempted homicide, a police report showed.
For his temporary liberty, Villegas will have to shell out P36,000 – the bail bond set by the court.
Officers from the Mandurriao police station served the suspect a warrant of arrest in their village on July 11.
Villegas had been a wanted person for a year, the police report stated.
Judge Eugene Cabardo of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities Branch 7 issued the warrant./PN
