KALIBO, Aklan – He turned himself in to the police in Makato, Aklan after a fatal stabbing incident.
The 37-year-old Romel Tumanun of Barangay Cayangwan, Makato was detained at the municipal police station lockup facility.
Police said Tumanon had a hand in killing the 31-year-old Rexel Isanan, also a resident of Barangay Cayangwan.
It was around 6:50 p.m. on Sunday when Tumanun went to Isanan’s house.
Without any provocation, Tumanun stabbed Isanan on the abdomen, police said.
Isanan’s body was now at the Calvin Magallanes Funeral Homes for a post-mortem examination.
Police were still determining the motive in the stabbing./PN
