SAN JOSE, Antique – A man was arrested for violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) in Barangay Pantao, Sibalom, Antique.
Police identified him as the 49-year-old resident Alberto Santillian.
Santillan was arrested after he had a heated argument with his 27-year-old brother Ritchel Santillian around 4 p.m. on Sunday, a police report showed.
Recovered from Santillan’s possession were a bolo and a 12-gauge shotgun, police said.
Santillan was subjected to medical checkup before he was detained at the Sibalom municipal police station lockup facility./PN
