GUIMARAS – A resident of Barangay 17, Victorias City, Negros Occidental facing a robbery charge was arrested in Buenavista town, a police report showed.
The 47-year-old Rommel Balleza was caught around 5:30 p.m. on Friday on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Rosario Abigail Dris-Villanueva of the Regional Trial Court Branch 65 in Barangay San Miguel, Jordan town issued on July 2.
Balleza faces Criminal Case No. 18-2988 for robbery by the use of force upon things in an inhabited place, the report stated.
He was detained at the Buenavista police station lockup facility.
The court recommended a P48,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
