ROXAS City – A farmer was found dead in Barangay Daplas, Dao, Capiz, a police report showed.
The 25-year-old resident Ronel Diaz was discovered by his father hanging from a mango tree with a rope tied around his neck around 6 a.m. on Monday, the report added.
Police Officer 2 Michael Aguiling of the municipal police station said they ruled out foul play in Diaz’s death.
According to investigation, Diaz left their home on Saturday after having a confrontation with his parents.
The cause of the confrontation, Aguiling did not disclose.
Diaz came back to the house on Sunday and torched his belongings, the police officer added.
The next day, Diaz was found lifeless about 40 meters from their house./PN
