BACOLOD City – Properties worth around P370,000 went up in smoke in Sitio Bomban, Barangay Tinampaan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Monday’s fire incident led to the total destruction of a house owned by Virginia Medado, according to Cadiz City’s Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The blaze partially damaged two houses owned by Irish Medado and Henry Garcia, the BFP added.
BFP investigators said the cause of the fire was “electrical by nature.”
The fire started razing the houses around 11:45 a.m. It was put out in the afternoon.
The owners of the burned houses were not around at the time, the BFP said.
Their neighbors were the ones who reported the fire to the Cadiz City police, who forwarded it to the BFP.
