3 ‘pushers’ fall in Bacolod, San Carlos

BACOLOD City – Plastic packs of suspected shabu were seized from drug pushing suspects in Bacolod and San Carlos cities.

Operatives arrested the following in three separate operations on Aug. 1:

* Fritz Eric Poncejan, 28, of Barangay 28, Bacolod City

* Enadelle Siroy Villarosa, 21, of Barangay Rizal, San Carlos City

* Arnold Setenta Azucena, 39, of Barangay 6, San Carlos City

Poncejan sold to an undercover officer suspected shabu for P500.

A total of four sachets of the prohibited substance were seized from him during the operation in their village.

He was detained in the custodial facility of Police Station 6.

Four sachets of suspected shabu weighing some 3.5 grams valued at P42,000 and drug paraphernalia were confiscated from Villarosa, said Superintendent D’Artagnan Katalbas Jr., San Carlos police head.

Villarosa was arrested at around 5:50 p.m. in Barangay 5, San Carlos.

Azucena, on the other hand, was arrested on Ylagan Street, Barangay 6 at around 9 p.m.

She yielded five sachets of suspected shabu weighing around a gram and valued at P12,000, drug paraphernalia and P250 cash.

The latter two suspects were detained at the San Carlos City police station.

All three face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
