San Carlos fisherman nabbed over ‘shabu’

BACOLOD City – A fisherman allegedly sold shabu to an undercover officer on V. Gustilo Street in Barangay 3, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

The 36-year-old Rhyan Macalua was arrested around 4:20 p.m. on Monday, a police report showed.

Recovered from Macalua’s possession were 10 sachets of suspected shabu weighing about a gram valued at around P12,000.

Drug paraphernalia and the P500 marked money were also confiscated from the suspect.

Macalua was detained at the San Carlos City police station lockup facility, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
