KALIBO, Aklan – A man was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation along Veterans Avenue in Barangay Poblacion, a police report showed.
The 25-year-old Johnrex Supranes Jr. of Barangay Igang, Pototan, Iloilo was caught around 9:30 p.m. on Monday after he sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P400, the report added.
Recovered from Supranes’ possession were two sachets of suspected shabu.
Joint elements of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Kalibo police station, Provincial Mobile Force Company, and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 6 staged the sting operation.
Supranes was detained at the Kalibo police station lockup facility.
He was facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
