ON TONIGHT with Boy Abunda, Julia Barretto recounted her preparations for her upcoming teleserye Ngayon at Kailanman with her leading man and real-life partner Joshua Garcia.
She shared her experience during her immersion in Tondo: “It opened me up, it made me appreciate life even more.”
Julia got emotional while talking about how grateful she is and how she managed the low points in her career.
“I’ve always dreamed of this day. I always had faith. I talked to God and I said, God I know one day it will get better. It was just a dream, a prayer, and now I’m living it. It’s crazy.”
She added, “It’s so humbling, Tito Boy. I feel like the more success you achieve, it should make you a more humble person.”
The young Barretto also mentioned how she doesn’t want to stop and be “too comfortable” with her success. “Ayaw ko siyang i-sink in because I want to keep working hard. Ayokong makampante. I don’t want to stop. The fire, it’s burning.” (Push)
