BACOLOD City – He caught in the act of collecting bets for the illegal numbers game jai-alai, police said.
The 64-year-old Rodolfo Francisco was arrested around 6:15 p.m. on Aug. 17 along Virgo Street in Sharina Heights subdivision, Barangay Taculing, a police report showed.
Recovered from Francisco were gambling paraphernalia and P130 bet money, police said.
A team from the City Intelligence Unit staged the Francisco’s arrest.
Francisco, a resident of Taculing, was detained at the Police Station 6 lockup facility.
Charges for illegal gambling will be filed against him./PN
