ILOILO City – Police recovered a homemade gun from a house in Barangay Dangulaan, Anilao, Iloilo.
But they failed to arrest its owner, Allan Antopina, a police report showed.
Officers went to the house of Antopina at 9:45 p.m. Saturday to serve a court-issued search warrant on suspicion that he was in possession of a homemade firearm.
But Antopina ran away when he learned that officers were going to search his house, said the police.
Officers found a 12-gauge shotgun with four ammunition.
