ILOILO City – A 55-year-old resident of Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao district allegedly jumped off a bridge in Lapuz.
Search and rescue teams have not yet found Edgardo Ferrer as of this writing.
Ferrer was walking on the bridge and suddenly jumped off it at around 8 p.m. on Sunday, police said, citing witnesses.
A pair of slippers found at the bridge was identified by his family as Ferrer’s, said the police./PN
