BACOLOD City – Two persons were caught in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Villamonte yesterday.
They were the 25-year-old Geronimo Dela Cena of Barangay 27 and 23-year-old Rodeza Mateo of Barangay Mandalagan, a police report showed.
Recovered from Dela Cena and Mateo’s possession were five sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P12,000, an improvised tooter and P500 marked money.
Officers from the Police Station 4 staged the sting operation.
Dela Cena and Mateo were detained in the police station’s lockup facility.
They were facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
