ILOILO City – Trying to break up a fight between two groups of teenagers was a bad idea.
A 20-year-old woman learned this the hard way when she was stabbed in Barrio Obrero, Lapuz district.
Resident Maura Grace Tabirao was wounded on the left arm.
She was taken to the West Visayas State University Medical Center in Jaro.
Police identified a suspect – neighbor Prince Manuel, 28. He was detained at the La Paz police station.
Tabirao was attacked while Manuel and friends were having a fistfight with another group at around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, a police report showed./PN
