ILOILO City – Police arrested Mar Jesse de Castro for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
The resident of Barangay Balagon, Anilao, Iloilo was taken to the municipal police station at 9:15 a.m. Sunday.
Officers found in his house that day a .45 pistol with ammunition and a .22 rifle, a police report showed.
De Castro did not have a license to possess the weapons, police said.
He faces charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
