BACOLOD City – Charged with statutory rape, a man was arrested in Barangay Inayawan, Cauayan, Negros Occidental, police said.
The 31-year-old resident Russ Tolentino was caught on Thursday on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Rosario Ester Orda-Caise of the Regional Trial Court Branch 61.
Tolentino was detained at the custodial facility of the Cauayan municipal police station.
The court recommended a P200,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
