ILOILO City – A 64-year-old resident of Barangay Juanico, Lemery, Iloilo had been shot.
Abelardo Agudio died of gunshot wounds on the stomach, a police report showed.
Police identified as suspect the 43-year-old Wilson Belgira of the same barangay.
A heated argument ensued between the two in their village at around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Belgira was already armed with a 12-gauge shotgun at the time. At the height of their altercation, he fired at Agudio, police said, citing witnesses.
The suspect fled after the shooting. Officers launched a manhunt operation against him./PN
