KIM Chiu is glad to be given the opportunity to work with GMA-7 actor Dennis Trillo.
During the recent press conference for the show Star Hunt, the ABS-CBN actress described her experience working with Dennis: “Exciting siya. Nakakapanibago. Refreshing siya sa mata,” she said.
Kim then gave her observations about her leading man for the movie “One Great Love”:
“Nakakagulat rin kasi ang galing pala niyang artista.
“Man of few words siya pero pag pinaarte mo, nagta-transform siya,” she continued.
When asked how she prepared for the kissing scenes and love scenes, Kim described this film directed by Eric Quizon as a “mature drama movie.”
She said about this project, “Kakaiba yung kwento, kakaiba leading man. Isa siyang bagong offering ko sa mga supporters ko.”
“One Great Love,” which is produced by Regal Films, also stars JC de Vera.
Kim recalled that she took some time to adjust working with Dennis.
“Sobrang galing niya pala. Nakakagulat!
“Pag umarte siya, ang galing niya. Mahihiya ka na lang.
“Nung unang [eksena] namin, nahihiya ako. Nagulat ako sa pag-arte niya,” she related.
How did she bond with her new leading man?
“Nagpapatawa ako sa kanya, yung iba hindi havey. Pero at least, nag-loosen up siya.
“Nagtatanong-tanong siya at alam mong super effort niya na siguro yun.
“Sobra siyang nice, gentleman and very giving actor. Kahit hindi niya shot, kahit mukha ko lang ang kita sa camera, ibibigay pa rin niya para maganda yung arte mo.”
Is Kim more open now to working with stars from other TV stations?
The Kapamilya actress pointed out, “Okay naman kasi 12 years na rin ako.
“Ang laki ng industriya natin so bakit hindi natin i-try?
“Pag nanonood nga ako ng preview, para akong nanonood ng ABS-CBN saka GMA. Nakakapanibago na makita sa screen ang ganun.” (Pep.ph)
