BACOLOD City – Charged with murder, a man was arrested in Barangay Payao, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental, police said.
The 53-year-old Roger Arangote was caught around 5:30 p.m. on Friday on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Walter Zorilla of the Regional Trial Court Branch 55 in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental issued on April 17.
Arangote – a resident of Barangay Bi-ao, Binalbagan – was detained in the custodial facility of the municipal police station.
The court did not recommend a bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
