BACOLOD City – An unlicensed gun was confiscated from a man at Manokan Food Park in Barangay Zone 2, Murcia, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
The 22-year-old Albert Villanueva of Barangay 2, Escalante City, Negros Occidental was caught around 2:15 a.m. on Sunday, the report added.
The gun recovered from him was a .38-caliber revolver loaded with one live bullet.
Officers from the Murcia municipal police station were responding to a mauling incident in the area when they seized the gun from Villanueva.
Villanueva was detained in the lockup facility of the municipal police station./PN
