BACOLOD City – A boy was found dead floating off the coast of Barangay Bagumbayan, Valladolid, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the boy as the 10-year-old Jake Tabal of Barangay San Vicente, Tubungan, Iloilo.
He was already in the state of decomposition when discovered around 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
Municipal police head Senior Inspector Junjie Liba said Tabal might have drowned in Iloilo and was carried away by the current to Valladolid.
The body was brought to a local funeral home./PN
