ROXAS City – Suspected shabu and marijuana plants were recovered from a man in Sitio Cubay, Barangay Santa Fe, Pilar, Capiz, a police report showed.
The recovery led to the arrest and detention of Ramil Venteroso, the report added.
Venteroso was caught around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and 12 fully grown cannabis plants were confiscated from him.
Venteroso was nabbed after he sold drugs to an undercover officer for P200, police said.
He was detained at the Pilar municipal police station lockup facility.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against Venteroso./PN
