BACOLOD City – A newly identified drug personality was caught in a drug buy-bust operation in Purok Baybay, Barangay Taloc, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
He was the 34-year-old resident Marquez Talag, said Bago City police head Chief Inspector Joeffer Cabural.
Talag was arrested around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday after he sold suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer for P200, a police report showed.
Recovered from his possession were two sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, a cellphone, and P400 cash believed to be proceeds from illegal drug transactions, police said.
The authorities also impounded Talag’s motorcycle.
Officers from the Bago City police station and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency staged the sting operation.
