ROXAS City – Two men were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay 7, a police report showed.

They were the 27-year-old Khen Flores and 24-year-old Raymart Galvez, the report added.

Flores and Galvez were caught around 1 p.m. on Friday after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P1,000.

Recovered from their possession were eight sachets of suspected shabu and two cellphones, police said.

Officers from the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit staged the sting operation.

Flores – a surrenderee under the Philippine National Police’s “Oplan Tokhang” – has a pending criminal case for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, according to the police.

He and Galvez were detained in the lockup cell of the Roxas City police station.

Charges for violation of RA 9165 were filed against them./PN
