BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in Barangay 3, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental. The man was carrying a firearm.
San Carlos City police head Superintendent D’ Artagnan Jr. identified him as the 36-year-old Arnel Gonzales of Purok Kalingling, Barangay 1, San Carlos City.
A .38-caliber gun loaded with five live bullets was recovered from Gonzales around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Detained at the San Carlos City police station, Gonzales was facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
