ILOILO City – Police arrested two residents of Barangay Buhay, Alimodian, Iloilo charged with theft.
The 67-year-old Rosendo Capablanca was caught in his house on Monday evening while Michael Anas, 37, was arrested in Barangay Lanit, Jaro district in this city on the same night.
Officers served Capablanca a warrant of arrest at around 8 p.m., a police report showed.
Judge Alpha Sanglap Delgado of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court issued the arrest warrant against him.
The court set the bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty at P6,000.
Capablanca was taken to the Alimodian police station.
Anas, on the other hand, was caught at 7 p.m. The court set a similar bail bond.
He was detained in the lockup cell of the Jaro police station.
It was not immediately clear as of this writing if the suspects have posted bail./PN
