BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu worth some P246,000 was recovered in a drug entrapment operation at RGA Pension House in Barangay 4, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The suspected illegal drugs contained in seven plastic sachets were confiscated from the 38-year-old Alo Adapun Bacarat around 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 9, a police report showed.
Officers from the Kabankalan City Drug Enforcement Unit caught Bacarat after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer for P500.
Aside from the suspected drugs, P2,133 believed to be proceeds from illegal drug transactions and drug paraphernalia were confiscated from Bacarat.
He was detained at the Kabankalan City police station lockup facility, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
