BACOLOD City – Ten individuals were arrested in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental for allegedly engaging in illegal cockfighting.
They were the 50-year-old Rey Estores, 23-year-old Servillano Gravela, 50-year-old Felix Arros, 40-year-old Joy Legaspina, 36-year-old Greg Gravela, 34-year-old Fil Magbanua, 31-year-old TJ Tianio, 34-year-old Reynan Seban, 47-year-old Danilo Ermac, and 31-year-old Ricky Eseller, a police report showed.
They were all residents of Himamaylan City, the report added.
A report on illegal cockfighting led to the apprehension of the suspects – staged by the Himamaylan City police on Sunday in Barangay Mambagaton.
Recovered from them were four gaming fowls (two dead, two alive), P7,570 gambling money and nine pieces of gaffs with scabbards.
