IN order to spread the love for reading and form new hobbies among the youth, Festive Walk Mall holds the first-ever book fair dubbed as Iloilo Mega Book Festival (IMBF), which aims to bridge together book lovers, passionate crafters, and interested hobbyists under one roof.
From Nov. 8 to 11, mall guests can browse a wide selection of books and magazines and learn new leisurely activities from partner organizations. A repository of knowledge is abundant in the Atrium with various topics of interest. Brush up on Filipino literature with All Pinoy Book Fair.
Apart from the wide selection of books, guests an also drop by on some learning sessions on arts and crafts, as well as take home cool stationeries. Interested participants can join the following coolest activities from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the event center.
Those who are looking to dabble their hands in some of the interesting hobbies of today such as Crafts and Calligraphy are invited to participate from 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. In addition, voracious readers who wants to improve their story writing skills can opt to join the Story Writing class.
Participants are also invited to catch the biggest gathering of Zine writers during the #ZineZoned5: Iloilo Zine Fest. Those who are looking forward to self-publish their booklet can take inspiration from renowned local writers.
Then at 4 p.m. mall guests are treated to a Story Telling class and hear compelling stories audibly come to life, while those who are fixated into rhyming and expression on some of the youth’s salient issues can opt to join the Spoken Poetry session at 5 p.m. by local artists in their field.
