BACOLOD City – Two brothers accused of murder were arrested after almost 15 years in Sitio Manuel, Barangay 1, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental.
The 43-year-old Mark Jumawan and his elder brother Tomas, also 43, were caught around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a police report showed.
The Jumawans are residents of Hacienda Faraon, Barangay Cabahug, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
They were caught on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Renato Muñez of the Regional Trial Court Branch 60 in Cadiz City issued on Dec. 1, 2003.
They were detained in the lockup cell of the Hinigaran municipal police station.
No bail bond was recommended for the temporary liberty of the suspects./PN
