BACOLOD City – Alfrederick Lanzar Diaz was arrested in Phase 3, Buenavista Subdivision, Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
He yielded suspected shabu worth P120,000, police said.
The 27-year-old resident of Barangay Banago in this city was a target of the Silay police in their antidrug campaign, according to Superintendent Noel Polines, police station officer-in-charge.
Officers staged a buy-bust operation against the illegal drug suspect at around 5 p.m. Thursday.
They confiscated from him 10 plastic packs of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, a mobile phone, and P400 cash.
Police said the confiscated substance weighed around 10 grams and had an estimated market value of P120,000.
