ILOILO City – Police were still trying to determine the motive in the shooting of a resident of Barangay Mansaya, Lapuz district on Sunday.
The 32-year-old Clifford Villar sustained a gunshot wound on the left shoulder.
He was confined in the West Visayas State University Medical Center in Jaro.
Villar was standing along the road outside their house at around 12:15 a.m. when fired at, a police report showed.
The gunman, who the police identified only as a certain “Mike,” fled after the incident./PN
