Alleged Odicta drug group member nabbed in Bacolod

BACOLOD City – An alleged member of the Odicta Drug Group was reportedly arrested in Bacolod City around 5:45 a.m. on Sunday in Sto. Niño, Barangay Villamonte.

Police identified the suspect as Joel Pineda, 28 “Alias Mimi” of Barangay Infante, Molo, Iloilo City.

Police Station 4 and regional Drug Enforcement Unit-6 arrested the suspect on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Ma. Theresa N. Enriques-Gaspar, presiding judge of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 33, Iloilo City dated Aug. 23, 2018.

He is facing charges in violation of Section 5, Article 11 of Republic Act 9165, or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
