ILOILO City – A 72-year-old retired teacher died in a collision between two motorcycles, a police report showed.
The crash that killed Hermogenes Capote at around 11:40 a.m. on Wednesday happened in their village of Bariga in Banate, Iloilo.
A motorcycle driven by Raffy Beboso, 29, of the same barangay overtook a preceding vehicle and crashed against the incoming motorcycle driven by Capote, police said, citing witnesses.
Capote died of a head injury, stated the police report.
Beboso survived but had a head injury, too. He was confined at Don Jose S. Monfort Medical Center Extension Hospital in Barotac Nuevo town./PN
