ROXAS City – The combined elements of the Pontevedra Police Station and Capiz Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a tricycle driver in a drug bust operation in Barangay Rizal, Pontevedra on Sunday, Pontevedra police chief Inspector Edgar Nuida said.
The suspect was identified as Alex del Rosario III, a resident of Barangay Guba of the said municipality – considered a newly identified street-level drug personality, Nuida added.
Recovered from the suspect were four plastic sachets of suspected shabu, P1,000 in marked money, one cellular phone, and one motorcycle.
The suspect was detained at the Pontevedra lock-up facility, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
