GET READY to see the bright lights this merry season at your favorite shopping place – Robinsons Malls!
A fun series of Christmas tree-lighting events was staged from Nov. 3 to 5 at Robinsons Place Iloilo, Robinsons Place Jaro and Robinsons Place Pavia.
The malls made sure that the spirit of Christmas can be felt as early as November through their 20-feet tall, finely decorated trees.
At Robinsons Place Iloilo, the Gingerbread Tree was lighted by Mayor Joe Espinosa III, Kapamilya Star Michelle Vito and Robinsons Malls regional operations manager Iris Hortelano last Saturday.
Found at the Mabini Wing, the tree shines gold – its lights further emphasizing its other decorations. Surrounded by swirling round candies and gingerbread houses, the tree exudes nothing but holiday sweetness.
At Robinsons Place Jaro, the Polar Bear Tree makes a “Winter Wonderland” impression. Cleverly decorated in giant white Christmas balls, red holiday bow ties and cute polar bears climbing ladders, the tree was lighted on Nov. 4.
Social media sensations Kendra and Scarlett Kramer were present at the lighting event, bringing fits of joy to the shopping crowd.
Robinsons Place Pavia had its lighting event on Monday. Robinsons officials – being “one family” that they are – led the lighting of the candy-themed Christmas tree.
The tree glimmered with its lights and candy canes and cupcakes as its decors.
The lighting events marked the beginning of the Christmas season at Robinsons Malls. Now mall goers can take their selfies with the beautiful Christmas trees!
Christmas is indeed a season of sharing. In line with this, Robinsons Malls has partnered with the Philippine National Police and the Department of Social Welfare and Development for a gif-giving activity.
Fifty children from Barangay Rizal Pala-Pala, Iloilo City received gifts from Robinsons Iloilo; 40 students from Jaro II Elementary School, from Robinsons Jaro; and 60 kids from Barangay Ungka II, Pavia, from Robinsons Pavia.
The gifts include educational toys, food from Jollibee, Chowking and Greenwich – some snacks were placed inside a bag the kids can use./PN
