ILOILO City – Police were still trying to find out what caused the death of a 21-year-old woman from San Dionisio, Iloilo.
The body of Krisna Rodrigo was found floating in a river in Barangay Tamangi, San Dionisio, a police report showed.
Police identified Rodrigo as a resident of Barangay Taloato, San Dionisio.
Residents passing by the river found the body at around 6 a.m. on Saturday, stated the police report.
Finding no wound on her body that would suggest she was attacked, investigators believed the woman drowned.
Police recommended that the body be subject to autopsy for them to be certain about the cause of death./PN
