WHEN it comes to the matters of the heart, Sylvia Sanchez doesn’t want to meddle in the lives of her children. In an interview on Magandang Buhay, Sylvia was asked to comment about the rumors linking her son Arjo Atayde to Maine Mendoza. According to the actress, her son does not discuss the said matter at their home and she respects that.
“Nakikita ko siyempre ‘yung mga litrato. Nababalitaan ko, mas nauuna ‘yung social media sa akin. Tinatanong ko si Arjo, ningingitian lang ako. Walang usapang ganon sa bahay. Basta ako kung ano ‘yung gusto niya, kung ano ‘yung ayaw niya sabihin sa amin, sekreto niya, respeto, so kung ano man ‘yung ginagawa ng anak ko, buhay niya ‘yan eh,” she said.
She added that as long as her son is happy, she is also happy. “Masaya ang anak ko at ‘yun ang important sa akin bilang ina,” she said.
Arjo has been spotted with Maine on several occasions, which sparked rumors that they are dating. Meanwhile, Arjo said in a recent interview that he is happy when asked about the state of his love life. “Masaya po. Masaya ako,” he said. The actor did not confirm though who he is dating at the moment. (Push)
