BACOLOD City – The Sangguniang Panlungsod congratulated Kurl Eduvas Jamora for topping the 2018 Physician Licensure Examination.
Jamora, a graduate of the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, grabbed the No. 1 spot with a 91.08 percent rating. Jamora is a resident of Eroreco Subdivision, Barangay Mandalagan, and finished his primary and secondary education at the University of St. La Salle – Integrated School (USLS-IS).
He took up Human Biology at the De La Salle University and graduated summa cum laude. Subsequently, he obtained his Medicine Degree at DLSU – Dasmariñas where he graduated magna cum laude.
According to Councilor Caesar Distrito, author of the city council resolution hailing Jamora, one notable recognition Jamora got was the distinction given by the Philippine General Hospital (PGH), citing him as one of the Overall Outstanding Interns.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) administered the Physician Licensure Examination in September 2018.
According to the city council, Jamora’s achievement brought honor to Bacolod City and should inspire residents of the city to be the best that they could be./PN
