ILOILO City – Two brothers were suspected of illegally possessing firearms.
Police caught Jay and Jemrey Frugalidad in separate operations in the municipality of Ajuy in Iloilo province.
Officers swopped down on the house of Jay in Barangay Tanduyan, Ajuy at around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Thirty minutes later they headed to the house of Jemrey, a former security guard, in Barangay Tipacla, Ajuy.
Officers seized from Jay a .45 pistol and 23 pieces of bullets, and from Jemrey a 12-gauge shotgun, stated the police report.
The two brothers were detained in the lockup cell of the Ajuy police station./PN
