ILOILO City – A farmer had been stabbed dead during an annual fiesta in Barangay Bagongbong, Lambunao, Iloilo.
Jose Rene Lego, a 22-year-old resident of the village, died at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district here.
Police have identified the suspect but refused to give their name.
All they said was the alleged attacker was suffering from nervous breakdown and currently being hunted by officers.
Lego was on a drinking binge with relatives at a store at around 12 noon Tuesday when the suspect stabbed him on the chest, a police report stated./PN
