MORE fuel companies on Monday announced big-time rollbacks in the pump prices of their petroleum products to be implemented today.
Eastern Petroleum, Total Philippines, and Jetti Petroleum Philippines said they will slash the per liter price of gasoline by P2.00 and diesel by P2.10.
Total and Jetti’s price adjustments will take effect at 6 a.m. while Eastern Petroleum will implement the rollback 12 a.m. on Dec. 4, Tuesday.
PTT Philippines and Shell Pilipinas have earlier announced they will reduce the pump prices of diesel by P2.10 per liter and gasoline by P2 per liter.
On Saturday, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines made a price cut of P2.00 on diesel and gasoline.
This is the eighth straight week of reductions in the prices of petroleum products.
The price of diesel has declined by a total P6.20 and gasoline by P9.15 since Oct. 15.
Data from the Department of Energy showed the prices per liter of diesel currently range from P40.92 to P45.70, gasoline from P44.90 to P55.82, and kerosene from P46.12 to P55.76. (With GMA News/PN)
