ILOILO City – Two natives of Negros Island were arrested for fighting each other in Barangay Airport, Mandurriao district.
Roy Oplas, 37, of Barangay Banago, Bacolod City and Glenn Abrasaldo, 32, of Barangay Buyao, Bayawan, Negros Oriental were detained at the Mandurriao police station.
They were creating alarm and scandal, according to village councilperson Alma Ylalim.
Oplas and Abrasaldo – both temporary residents of Barangay Airport, Mandurriao – were caught in fisticuffs at around 7 p.m. Sunday, a police report showed.
They were believed drunk, the report further stated./PN
