AS PART of the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival Regal Films entry One Great Love, JC De Vera said he feels blessed to be part of a major project up until the end of the year.
“Nung unang in-offer sa akin itong project na ‘to, hindi ako nag-isip. I knew na magiging maganda talaga itong proyekto na ito knowing na si Kim Chiu at si Dennis Trillo yung mga katrabaho ko with director Eric Quizon. Hindi ko pa nababasa yung script, hindi ko pa nababasa yung synopsis nung project eh um-oo na ako kagad. So ganun ako ka-excited to work with everyone. Sobrang grateful ako,” he said.
The One Great Love actor said they all worked hard to make a good film, which includes Kim Chiu’s very first intimate scenes with both leading men.
“Sobrang happy ako with the outcome of the project kasi sila yung nag-set ng tone ng proyektong ito. Gagawin namin ito in a relaxed and a calm way but we have to put in work. So ginawa namin yung best namin for this project,” he added.
Off camera, JC said he feels fulfilled because of his non-showbiz partner Rikkah Cruz and his baby daughter Lana Athena.
“Siguro alam naman ng lahat ng tao kung ano yung disposition ko ngayon. I truly believe sa one great love dahil sa na-experience ko ngayon sa buhay ko and I’m truly grateful sa position ko ngayon sa buhay,” he explained.
Even though they have yet to walk down the aisle, JC said he is in it for the long run with his current relationship.
“For the past years na nagkaroon ako ng iba’t ibang relationships, I always give my 100%. I make sure na sila yung one great love ko. But this time around, alam niyo naman na happy life ako ngayon and I’m pretty sure nahanap ko na yung one great love ko. I’m really busy right now loving my family,” he said. (Push)
